Sauvignon Blanc ~ Cotes de Duras Andrew Gordon, an English wine – merchant, bought this abandoned vineyard in 1985 and transformed it into a showcase winery in the Cotes de Duras , south west of Bordeaux. The Sauvignon is their flagship wine producing 95,000 bottles from 27.6 acres – a fruity, ripe and concentrated aroma, supple and well structured with a lovely refreshing finish - a marvellous accompaniment to fish and shellfish or as an aperitif. |
